Evaluer les compétences en Information Literacy
Deux chercheuses de l'Université de Robert Gordon en Ecosse ont lancé un projet visant à permettre de savoir ce que les enseignants mettent derrière le concept d'Information Literacy mais aussi ce qu'ils attendent de leurs élèves à ce sujet. En voici plus précisement les grandes lignes:
The study will identify:
• how teachers conceptualise information literacy and issues relating to its integration into the curriculum;
• how information literacy is interpreted by teachers in relation to the learning tasks they design, monitor and assess;
• whether teachers’ conceptions and understanding of information literacy change after a period of reflection and discussion with colleagues;
• how teachers’, and information professionals’ understanding and interpretation of information literacy compare.
L'idée est également de pouvoir évaluer le niveaux des élèves et étudiants et, à terme, d'être capable de mentionner ces capacités de manière normalisée dans un CV.
